A lot of us are watching AFL for the first time

It is the most successful AFL club in the last decade
having appeared in four consequetive Grand Finals

Let the Game Begin!

There was a lot of attention on this player
Mitchell Clark (Full Forward / Ruckman)
He is well-known for taking
aerial/contested marks (328 since 2006) and
kicking goals (488 since 2006)

At half-time, children teams came out and play
Absolutely adorable!

I believe this is call the Clothesline
A professional wrestling move in which one runs towards another
and extends his arm out from the side hitting the opponent
in the neck - BRUTAL!

It was a very fast-paced and intense game

Mitch Clark was one of the players who got badly wounded
There were a lot of bloodshed throughout the game

The game goes to Fremantle Dockers

BRISBANE LIONS - FREMANTLE DOCKERS

POST-GAME
Kick to Kick

After the second bell/siren, everyone charged to the field
to have their go with the balls

Samuel (Australia) showed us a few moves

Michael Voss (Coach) commented
"I felt for most of the match, we should have won. But when you walk away from a match, you walk away with two things. Sometimes you walk away with the four points, or you walk away with the fact you're proud of what you were able to put in to the performance.
I can't fault them, I'm proud of what the guys did, they hung in there. We were courageous, but we didn't get the win. So when you fight so hard for something, it's difficult to walk away licking your wounds."
