Radio 4EB + Old Town Kitchen [Sunday]

There's a new pre-paid service bus City Glider
that goes from West End to Valley
passing through the City
The best part is during weekends, its 24 hours
with 15min interval!

On my way to Radio Meeting
at QUT Garden's Point...

Anyone listened to our radio show last night
on JC versus POLY (Lee Beng Tard issue)?
Here's a short footage..

watch video here:

bumped into Ah Rol at the library..

Unilodge

Dinner was at Old Town Kitchen
at Brunswicks Street Mall, Fortitude Valley
Opposite the Police Station

Meals are priced at an average of AUD15
Singapore/Malaysian-styled Cuisine
Kinda like your 烧腊+煮炒 stalls..

Wait a min..
When we see TIGER BEER at Singapore's Specialty Shop
sold together with our Kaya, Chilli Crab Gravy, Kaya Jam etc
we have always know that Tiger Beer is from Singapore!
So is Tiger Beer from Singapore or Malaysia?

Tiger Beer is a brand from Asia Pacific Breweries (founded in 1931)
Headquarters: Singapore
The beer was first launched in 1932 as Singapore's first locally brewed beer
and was popular in Malaya in the 1950s
European-styled lager brewed with malted barley from Australia,
hops from Germany and yeast from Holland.
If you still insist that Tiger Beer is from Europe, Australia or Malaysia,
I think you have a drinking problem..

Char Siew (BBQ Pork) Noodles

Curry Chicken with Rice

[GENERAL RATINGS]
Food Quality: 7.5/10
Food Presentation: 9/10
Portion Size: 9/10
Value for Money: 9/10
Beverage Quality: 6/10
Service: 6/10
Ambience: 9/10
Return Factor: 8/10
Other Remarks: Do not try their Cendol to avoid disappointment!
Trust me cos I'm a huge Cendol fan plus my uncle
owns 2 cendol shopfronts at Jonker Street in Malacca, Malaysia.
However I'm very pleased that the establishment is always clean
except for non-uniformed staff walking in and out of the kitchen
chewing food in their mouth - rather disturbing.
Also, look out for a cute Malaysian girl, Mandy working there.

After that we went to have coffee before the radio show
Jean gave us some ROLY POLY

There was a major traffic accident at Eagle Street Pier
near our 4EB Radio Station between a taxi and a civilian car

The civilian car probably drove into the side of the taxi/cab
However, it was a T-junction..
so my best guess is that the taxi did not check for
oncoming vehicles before turning right
BUT BUT BUT the civilian vehicle must be driving beyond 60kmh
in order to create a dent this big!

Fortunately no one was injured (I think)..

We were caught in the jam as the firemen
cordoned off the junction to sweeped up the glass shards

On the bright side, we get to look at
cool firemen in action!

We have a special guest on our show today
Dylan SeasonDiamond aka Ah Xiang

Getting ready for the show..

If you miss the show, don't worry
you can tune in to our show Lala-land
every Sunday 8pm(SGD) 10pm(AUS)
