Was taking a cab when I realise the
taxi uncle was using the same k810i phone as me
Good taste leh, uncle!

Lite Lunch today is at
ICHIBAN BOSHI @ Novena Square

I love the menu
Its good quality 100g paper
with a wavy glittery surface

Some Grilled Cheese Maki
Colour Plate

Kali Maki
Colour Plate
Taste pretty good
But we all know
you can't go wrong with this dish

Green Tea
Comes in a massive china cup
with free refills

Salmon Nigiri Sushi
Colour Plate
The sushi is from their conveyor belt
but hey, it tasted very fresh
Its awesome

Agedashi Tofu
Pippin' hot deep fried bean curds
light crispy batter in rich sauce

Cereal Tori
This is pretty cool
Tori Kara Age version of Cereal Prawn
Its like deep fried chicken, but has a sweet flavor
and fragrance from the cereal

Saba Shioyaki
Grilled Saba
Well marinated and grilled to perfect crispiness
yet meat is still tender
I would usually avoid this dish
due to hassle from the fish bones
but this is really good

Tori Curry Cheese Wazen
This is really interesting
Tasty fun food
The claypot boils through your meal
as you watch the cheese inflates and deflates

Chicken are tasty and tender
Sweet Japanese curry fared pretty decent
Presentation of dish is awesome

Tempura has light batter
Shrimp is fresh and chewy
Very delicious

Next stop was buffet dinner at
Vienna International Seafood and Teppanyaki Restaurant
Yes.. Pretty long name, isn't it?

They offer little cocktails
which I didn't really like

When we were seated,
Buddha Jump Wall was served
This is a very chinese styled soup
with strong herbal taste in chicken stock
There are chinese mushrooms and seafood
inside as well, but 90% still taste of chicken soup
Not impressed, but tasty nevertheless

Variety and Selection are awesome
I wouldn't call it International, really.
Here we have some
Cha Soba - pretty decent
Abalone - horribly low quality
Garlic Scallops - tasty and just the way I like it done
Smoked Salmon - lovely, however would be better served chilled
Pineapple Rice - very nice

You may pick vegetables, meat or seafood
from a counter and place it on the teppanyaki booth
After it is done, it was will garnished and served to your table
Pick up is slow, so the food is not hot when it reaches your table
Shishamo - tough and dry
Dory Fillet - tough and dry
Salmon -tough and dry
Beef - tough and dry
Lamb - tasty and chewy, does not have stench
Chicken - tough and dry
My conclusion is the teppanyaki chef do not know what they are doing

Bamboo Rice - Does not have bamboo taste, its just rice cooked in dark soya sauce
Ginseng Soup - Herbal chicken stock soup, nothing special

Beverages are free flow with good choices
from your common dispensed soft drinks to
bottled fresh juices
The service staff may bring you your beverages
or ask you to collect it yourself from the bar
depending on their mood - Yes, I'm serious!

From observation, 70% of the dining guests are Chinese Nationals
The restaurant is very packed
and the buffet area is chaotic

Other Remarks: Staff are lacking in smiles, saw a waitress knocked into a guest and she "tsk"-ed. Wow! Also, you're only given 2 hours to eat. At the end of the 2 hours, a staff will keep coming to your table to remind you that your session is over.

Raine's dSLR

Its been forever since I last ate YAMI Yogurt
at Parkway Parade in my secondary school days

BBQ Chicken (Tampines 1)

After that we went to Kbox Ehub to sleep

Edwin continues to torture us
with his awful singing

All of us felt unwell after hearing Edwin's singing
we decided to go home and sleep
